Sire: Snips Silver Dude (2002). “Dude” is a striking red dun roan and throws 100% color. He is a son of Snipper Music, a well-known Montana sire, an 82 Grulla stallion. Winner of numerous snaffle bit, reining, and cutting shows. Described by his owners, the Lynn’s, as “the most athletic horse they have ever ridden”. Snipper Music was also a successful team penner and produced foals that have muscle, size, athletic ability, intelligence, and lots of color. Snips Silver Dude seems to continue this legacy of producing quality ranch, roping, and using horses with great dispositions and color.
Dam: Idaho Lena. One of the very first original ranch mares that we have. Idaho Lena is always a consistent producer of quality colts that are used in the arena and out. They are almost always colored and seem easy to be around. Idaho Lena is a granddaughter of Freckles Flynt, a NCHA money earner and multiple open futurity finalist in addition to being a sire of earners of over $234,747.
This is a really solid made filly that will make you look at her. She’s got an awesome red dun roan color right now that could possibly go gray. Her feet are big and all black with a good amount of bone on her and a great hip. Nice filly with a great future for whatever direction you want. These Snips Silver Dudes are easy going horses and nice to be around!
