Sire: Snips Silver Dude (2002). “Dude” is a striking red dun roan and throws 100% color. He is a son of Snipper Music, a well-known Montana sire, an 82 Grulla stallion. Winner of numerous snaffle bit, reining, and cutting shows. Described by his owners, the Lynn’s, as “the most athletic horse they have ever ridden”. Snipper Music was also a successful team penner and produced foals that have muscle, size, athletic ability, intelligence, and lots of color. Snips Silver Dude seems to continue this legacy of producing quality ranch, roping, and using horses with great dispositions and color.
Dam: Sonny Zipper Dee (APHA): Sonny is a daughter of Sonny The Duke that Loke started as a three year old. She was easy to get along with and took good care of Loke. She is out of a mare that goes back to Zippo Pine Bar. This mare is bred for performance with Zippo Pine Bar and Sonny Dee Bar. Her colts are always laid-back and easy to get along with.
This colt will be registered through the APHA. He is a cool red dun overo with a big bald face, stocking, and some spots up the side of his barrel. He is a long legged colt that looks to be a big, good using gelding some day. Good prospect for anything! |
